John has performed both solo and with various musical groups for audiences throughout the Northeaster and Western United States, the British Isles and Western Europe.
He incorporates into his performances a wide variety of influences that range from standard and contemporary folk and pop to more obscure cabaret and ethnic stylings.
Currently residing in the Verde Valley, John has been singing and writing songs with the Arizona Highway Band Major Lingo for the past thirty years. John also performs with JOHNNY LINGO TRIO and as a solo artist.
Always striving to find the emotional connection with the lyrical and musical tone of each song he sings, John prides himself on "not knowing how to fake it."
