Fantasy Setlists

Postby Captain C on Mon Aug 11, 2008 9:18 pm

OK...here is the thread for posting your dream setlists. Rules: none. They can be realistic, or not so much. They can include just songs Lingo plays, or have songs you wish they'd play. They can have only songs on vacation, or any song Lingo's ever played. Just try not to double-post too much.

So, to get things started, here's one Julie B and I came up with about a month before I moved to NYC back in '05...

Set I:

Working Class Hero
Memorial Day Part II ('new song' at that point as it was yet unnamed)
Killing Season
7th Seal-->Reprise
Houses In Motion
Waltzka
Sure to Wonder
MnM Reel
Maddy Groves
Belushi
Mombasa

Set II:

Cowboy's Dream
Choir Room
Reason-->
Youth of Nations jam
Hellbelly
No Key
Save It For Later-->
Now Jam

Encore:
Crosseyed and Painless

We showed this to Steve, and he said something along the lines of "yeah, that'd kill us."

I think you're referring to "Third Stone From the Sun," which is a Jimi Hendrix tune, and usually done by Lingo coming out of "Walk to the Sun." Sometimes this combo is referred to by Lingo fans as "Sun-->Sun"

(And aren't I amazing for figuring out which tune it was... 8-) :ugeek: :mrgreen: )
